▪︎ DETAILS
Purchased at a flea market in Paris, France. The color is a carbon-like gray, a mix of bronze and black-leaning gray, with a subtle, smoky, midnight feel. The color appears slightly different in natural light versus indoors. The drape when worn is very beautiful, and the texture is smooth and flowing. The material is likely rayon. Also, the rare stand-up collar neck is a distinctive feature, reminiscent of 14th-century French nobility and 1980s Issey Miyake. The horizontal opening pockets in image 6 and the different button colors are also rare and interesting design elements.

▪︎ HOW TO CARE
According to the dry cleaner, harsh washing methods (prolonged soaking, alkaline detergents, and tumble drying) are not recommended for this material. Machine washing is acceptable, but hand washing is preferable. It's also best to avoid drying in direct sunlight and frequent washing. In other words, the best way to care for the material at home is to "wash with a mild detergent → short spin cycle → air dry in the shade." For wrinkle removal, the use of a steam iron is recommended.
