Cats living in the attic of the Louvre Museum. They were hiding from humans, but one white cat breaks the rules and goes on an adventure. Guided by voices heard from paintings, they enter a world where…!?

Whereabouts of the girl who disappeared in the Louvre…!! Marcel, the night watchman of the Louvre, had a sister named Arietta. She claimed to hear the voices of paintings, and one day she disappeared. Her brother said she entered a painting, but no one believed him, and a long time passed… And then, Yukinoko, a cat with the mysterious ability to "enter paintings," is guided by Arietta's voice and enters the world of paintings…!?

Taiyo Matsumoto
Born in Tokyo in 1967. Debuted in 1987 with STRAIGHT, which was selected for the Monthly Afternoon Four Seasons Award. Tekkonkinkreet, serialized in Weekly Big Comic Spirits, was made into a theatrical anime in 2006. Ping Pong was made into a live-action film in 2002 and a TV anime in 2014. Take Mitsu Samurai won the Excellence Award in the Manga Division of the 11th Japan Media Arts Festival and the Manga Grand Prize at the 15th Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize. Sunny, published in Monthly! Spirits, won the 61st Shogakukan Manga Award and the 20th Japan Media Arts Festival Manga Division Excellence Award.
