Oversize pair from the Medaenas Monographs on the Arts series, produced with The Metropolitan Museum of Art and funded by Boehringer Ingelheim. Includes Rembrandt van Rijn (Anne Walter Lowenthal) and Michelangelo (Constance Lowenthal). Both feature rich color plates on coated stock with fold-outs. Softcover folios measure about 13.25" x 10.25". Great reference/display set for Renaissance and Old Master collectors.
The Rembrandt book has a page at the back that is partially detached from the binding. That book also has some writing in the margin on one of the advertising pages near the front of the book. Both books have some minor wear to the covers. No rips or tears to pages noted. See pictures for further details on condition.
