Zoe selected an art deco themed peacock design for her scarf, which she recommends styling many creative ways.
The order for this scarf has employed over 100 artisans in India and trained 10 women in the art of screen printing. Our artisan team trained these how to screen print specifically for this order, providing them with several months of wages and highly employable skills.
I had the opportunity to meet with our new artisan partners and share stories of collaboration. They told me how empowering the process was, and how they were able to provide for their families for the first time. The order is especially timely because many poor families in India have struggled due to the recent demonetization declaration by Prime Minister Modi.
